CCCS UndocuSupport Initiative

This initiative supports the CCCS plan with trainings and constant updates on protections and sharing resources for our undocumented and mixed status families. Members on this team are continuously learning about best practices to support their community members and actively listen to community needs to shape programming.

Recent Milestones:

  • Fy23-24

  • Currently have 8 active partners who attend bi-weekly meetings

  • As a group, we have outreached to approximately 6,436 community members through 85+ events this year. Events include UndocuAlly trainings, Know Your Rights workshops, and CARON Community Academies.

  • The group hosted a series of workshops aimed at alleviating anxieties that may come during this election year. Over 55 community members attended and learned about their rights, protections, and available services.

  • FY 22-23

  • The group convened 20 times this fiscal year.

  • Engaged in 60 outreach events, where they shared social services with community members.

  • Collaboratively hosted a 4-part financial literacy series which engaged over 45 community members.

  • Helped plan the Community All Stars event at the Redwood City Boys and Girls Club
